CARF Accreditation

CARF International 3- Year Re-accreditation

Sanctuary is first and oldest non-profit organization in the Western Pacific  region that is accredited by the nationally acclaimed Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitative Facilities (CARF) – an International  Accreditation body that celebrates over 50 years in ensuring that the highest quality services are delivered to persons served. CARF Accreditation was initially acquired by Sanctuary in July of 2008. Since then, Sanctuary has maintained its accreditation status. Most recently, on June 26, 2017, Sanctuary was awarded the maximum number of years – Three-Year Accreditation, which will expire June, 30, 2020, marking Sanctuary’s 4th successful Accreditation survey.

All Sanctuary programs have been fully accredited by CARF in the 2017  Accreditation Survey; specifically the Child & Youth Service Area, which  include:

1
Community Housing
and Shelters

(CO-ED Emergency Shelter & Permanent Housing Program)

2

The 2017 Accreditation includes two (2) new program areas (*) that were not surveyed in 2017.

Accreditation by CARF signifies that Sanctuary, in the Child & Youth Services Field, met annual conformance requirements in over 125 quality standards that enhance the lives of children and families that Sanctuary serve. This achievement is an indication of Sanctuary’s dedication to delivering quality service (personnel, programs and documentation).
